Oversee, monitor, and coordinate the daily operations of a day program providing services to individuals.</span></li>
Communicate with the staff, serviced individuals, parents/guardians, and team members to ensure that appropriate services and supports are provided; coordinate day program activities consistent with personal support/habilitation plans. </span></li>
Maintain a safe and clean environment at the day program.</span></li>
Ensure that day program placement and schedules align with each individuals IHP/ISP. </span></li>
Ensure that Medication Administration for unlicensed personnel rules are adhered to and in compliance with state law. </span></li>
Coordinate and work in cooperation with residential staff/family when participant has medical appointment or any other outside need resulting in a shortened day and prepare billing accordingly. </span></li>
Ensure that the day program complies with the standards of all applicable state and private certification and licensing agencies. </span></li>
Complete monthly inspections and work with supervisor to contribute to corrective action plan, if necessary.</span></li>
Cooperate with the licensee and Department of Human Services in any inspection or investigation.</span></li>
With team of DSPs and supervisor, along with other resources, create, post and distribute a monthly calendar of daily events and activities in advance of the new month.</span></li>
Work with Support Administrators/county board employees and others to advertise and grow program, in accordance with overall REM regional plan.</span></li>
Ensure that all staff under your supervision are current with REM and DoDD training requirements, especially attending to rules specific for day programs and maintain documents.</span></li>
Complete and submit billing in an accurate and timely manner. </span></li>
Ensure that all vehicles have proper documentation, comply with state and licensing agencies, and that regular maintenance is maintained.</li>
Implement safety and fire procedures according to all regulations and standards.</span></li>
Maintain monthly budgets and required documentation, complete payroll documentation for all-day program employees, and evaluate and order monthly supplies.</span></li>
Serve on committees as assigned.</span></li>

</strong></p> Qualifications:</em></p>
</em></strong></p>
Must have a high School diploma or equivalent.</span></li>
One year related work experience.</span></li>
Must be 18 years or older.</span></li>
Must havedriver's license, car registration, and auto insurance. </span></li>
Other licensure or certification where required by regulatory authority. </span></li>
Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish rapport with team members and those we serve.</span></li>
Strong organizational abilities to ensure staffing and schedules are maintained.</li>
